J. A. Severn Pty Ltd was founded in 1978 by Mr John Severn with the objective of importing and distributing a selective range of high quality components and products to the electronics industry, throughout
Australia and
New Zealand . In 1986 the company was purchased by Gordon & Glenn Clarke and following some restructuring, the trading name was changed to Clarke and Severn Electronics to improve industry identification with the company’s activities. In March 2005 after the retirement of other family members Glenn Clarke acquired a majority shareholding position and expanded the business in new directions to take advantage of emerging markets and the CSE’s solid reputation for quality.
Quality Control.
We have a quality control system to the ISO 9000 Standard, providing complete traceability of every item we handle through our warehouse back to the original point of manufacture.
